MALEVOLENT CREATION/DOWN THE DRAIN Singer On 'VM Underground'; Audio Available

August 7, 2008

MALEVOLENT CREATION/DOWN THE DRAIN singer Brett Hoffmann was interviewed earlier in the month by the "VM Underground" radio show. The program is now available for streaming and download at this location.

DOWN THE DRAIN recently posted a new song, "Back Of Your Hand", on its MySpace page. The track comes off the group's sophomore album, "Ground Pounder", which was recorded with producer Doug White (SNAPCASE, EARTH CRISIS, IT DIES TODAY, EVERY TIME I DIE) at Watchmen studios in Lockport, New York. The drums on the CD were laid down by Shane Rizziano, who recently returned to the fold after being dismissed from the group a few months ago. "We couldn't have done it with out him," the band says in a statement. "We welcome him back with open arms... and he will always be our brother."

DOWN THE DRAIN released its debut album, "Dying Inside", on September 18, 2007 via the Arctic Music Group.

Fan-filmed video footage of DOWN THE DRAIN's September 16, 2007 concert at Club Infinity in Buffalo can be viewed below.
